This Movie is the reincarnation of a previous short film released in 2020 under the same name in 2019. It now returns to the big screen as a feature-length movie and will hit Japanese theaters on the 20th of November 2021. Indie-Director Atsuya Sakata is exploring the story of a middle-sized company that handles extermination. Alien extermination. Something not from this world crashed from the sky and landed in your house? Well, the Miyata Busters are here to bust their asses. They are trying to, I might add.
With the short film pulling some attention – by being selected for the 2019 “Kanazawa Film Festival” – director Atsuya Sakata gathered enough money through crowdfunding to realize his vision of a feature-length movie.
If you love funky, Indie Sci-Fi movies with attention to detail and a great deal of heart, then this might be perfect for you! Let’s hope that this movie is going to get picked up by the international Film Fest circle just as its short version was.
