Rookie Actor Lee Do Gyeom Cast in “While You Were Sleeping”

On the 5th of September, Inyeon Entertainment announced that its rookie actor Lee Do Gyeom would join “While You Were Sleeping”, the upcoming SBS drama starring Lee Jong Suk and Bae Suzy.

Until now, Lee Do Gyeom appeared in the KBS2 drama ‘Solomon’s Perjury’ and the JTBC drama ‘Naked Fireman’. His third appearance on the small screen will be as a son of a man who has been falsely accused of murder. He struggles to prove that his father is innocent.

“While You Were Sleeping” is a fantasy/ crime drama, in which Nam Hong Joo (Bae Suzy) has dreams of unfortunate events and prosecutor Jung Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk), who tries to prevent them from happening.

“While You Were Sleeping” Releases First Official Stills + Behind the Scenes Stills

On the 4th of September, the production team behind the new SBS drama “While You Were Sleeping” released a first still from the upcoming drama. It shows Bae Suzy and Lee Jong Suk sitting next to each other on a bus and Lee Jong Suk leaning on Bae Suzy’s shoulder with his eyes closed.

“While You Were Sleeping” tells the story of Nam Hong Joo (Bae Suzy) who has premonitory dreams about accidents which will happen to someone, while prosecutor Jung Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk) is trying to prevent them from happening.

Cast members Lee Jong Suk and Park Jin Joo also updated their Instagram with a behind the scenes look at the drama shooting.

Script Reading Pictures Released For “While You Were Sleeping”

SBS released for its upcoming drama “While You Were Sleeping” behind the scenes stills showing off the cast during the script rehearsal. “While You Were Sleeping” tells the story of a woman (Bae Suzy) who has premonitory dreams about accidents and a prosecutor (Lee Jong Suk) who tries to prevent them.

Other actors involved in this project are Lee Sang Yeob (‘My Wife’s Having An Affair this Week’), Ko Sung Hee (‘My Beautiful Bride’) and Jung Hae In (‘Goblin’s Tae Hee).

OCN Released Second Teaser For “Black”

The promo wheels for OCN’s new mystery/fantasy drama are turning fast. Just a few days ago, the first teaser for this drama was released. Now there is a second teaser, which keeps the atmosphere of the first one. Check it out for yourself!

“Black” follows a detective which has been possessed by a Grim Reaper. He, together with Kang Ha Ram (Go Ara) is trying to save people, defying the laws of heaven. “Black” is set to premiere on the 14th of October on OCN. Until then, I’ll keep you updated.

So Ji Sub and Son Ye Jin Confirmed to Reunite on the Movie Screen

So Ji Sub and Son Ye Jin will be reuniting onscreen after 16 years!

The film is called “I’m on My Way to Meet You” (working title) and also stars Kim Ji Hwan, Go Chang Suk, Lee Joon Hyuk, Son Yeo Eun, Lee Yoo Jin, Kim Hyun Soo, and Bae Yoo Ram. Filming began on August 12.

Based on the Japanese novel, “I’m on My Way to Meet You” is about a woman (Son Ye Jin) who before passing away makes a hard-to-believe promise to her husband (So Ji Sub) to return one year later on a rainy day. However, one year later, she does reappear in front of her husband and son, but with all her memories gone.

Child actor Kim Ji Hwan will be playing the son, while Lee Joon Hyuk plays one of So Ji Sub’s colleague. Go Chang Suk is playing So Ji Sub’s friend and this is the second time the two actors have worked together. Also, Son Ye Jin and So Ji Sub previously filmed the drama “Delicious Proposal” back in 2001.

The film is expected to be released sometime in 2018.

Actress Song Ji Hyun Joins Cast of SBS Plus Mini – Drama “Longing Heart”

On the 29th of August, it was revealed that Song Ji Hyun will join the SBS mini drama “Longing Heart”. She will play Kang Shin Hee, the older sister of the male protagonist Kang Shin Woo (played by Lee Jung Shin).

“Longing Heart” is an adaptation of the same named webtoon. It’s a romantic time slip drama, whereas Kang Shin Woo (Lee Jung Shin) travels back in time to when he was a high school student. He meets his younger self (played by Seo Ji Hoon) and tries to fulfill his biggest wish. To be with his first love. The woman he couldn’t forget for the past 10 years: Han Ji Soo (Lee Yeol Eum).

Teaser and Script Reading Video For Detective – Fantasy Drama “Black” Released

OCN released the first teaser for its upcoming detective – fantasy drama “Black”. The teaser is quite nondescript, but it conveys a good atmosphere for a drama focused on death. Check it out yourself:

“Black” will focus on Detective Black (Song Seung Heon) who is possessed by the Grim Reaper. Kang Ha Ram (Go Ara) is a woman who can see the shadows of death. These two try to save humans while fighting against the laws of heaven.
